Panama

When is the best time to travel to Panama?

Panama can be visited all year round. The dry season, from December to April, is ideal for beaches and outdoor activities.

Do I need a visa to travel to Panama?

It depends on your nationality. We recommend checking the current immigration requirements before you travel.

What currency and language are used in Panama?

The US dollar (USD) is used and the official language is Spanish.

Tours, experiences and transport

What kinds of tours does PANAMA YOSTOURS offer?

We offer city tours, beaches, islands, nature, cultural experiences, indigenous communities, day trips and private tours, among other options.

Can I request a private or tailor-made tour?

Yes. We can put together experiences for couples, families, groups, companies and organisations, based on your needs and availability.

What should I bring on a tour?

It depends on the activity. We generally recommend comfortable clothes, ID, sunscreen, water and any personal items you need. For some tours we'll send specific instructions.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes. We offer private transfers between the airport, hotels and other points arranged in advance.

How long does the driver wait?

At the airport, the maximum waiting time without hearing from the passenger is 60 minutes. At hotels or pick-up points it is up to 30 minutes.

How much luggage can I bring?

We normally allow 1 personal bag and 1 piece of hand luggage per passenger. If you are bringing checked luggage, extra suitcases or special equipment, please let us know in advance.

Bookings, payments and changes

How do I book a tour?

You can book through our official channels, WhatsApp, email or directly at our office. Bookings are subject to availability.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?

Yes. An initial deposit is required to secure the service. The remaining balance must be settled up to 48 hours before the tour starts.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers, cash at our office and debit or credit cards. Card payments may be subject to a bank processing fee, which we'll tell you about before you pay.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes, but it is subject to the tour conditions, how far in advance you tell us, availability and supplier policies. There are no refunds less than 48 hours before the tour or service starts.

What happens if I don't show up for the tour?

Not showing up or missing the agreed time may be treated as a No Show, with no right to a refund.

What happens in case of bad weather, accidents or unforeseen events?

Our team always puts passenger safety first and will provide the guidance and coordination needed. Some services may change due to weather, safety or causes beyond our control. We always recommend having valid traveller assistance.

International trips by air

Which international destinations do you offer?

We have packages to Cancún, Punta Cana, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico City, Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala) and other destinations depending on the season and availability.

Do the packages include flights?

Yes. Our international packages include the flight, unless the passenger specifically asks for a land-only option.

What can the packages include?

Depending on the destination, they can include flights, accommodation, transfers, breakfasts, tours, entrance fees, a guide and traveller assistance. The specific services are listed on each package.

Can I request a tailor-made trip?

Yes. We can put together packages for couples, families, groups, companies, churches and students, based on dates, budget and availability.

Do you organise trips to Machu Picchu, Cancún, Punta Cana and other destinations?

Yes. We design experiences around the main attractions of each destination, including cultural, beach, nature, adventure and sightseeing options.

International trips by land (Central America)

What are the Central America trips like?

Our Central America circuits run as group trips by land only, covering several countries in a single journey; other times we visit Costa Rica alone.

Which countries do you visit?

Along the route we visit Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

Which months do these trips run?

Land departures across Central America are scheduled in January, February and March each year. Costa Rica trips run as one group departure per month.

What does the land circuit include?

Depending on the programme, it can include land transport, accommodation, breakfasts, lunch, tours, transfers, a guide and various activities along the way.

How do I book and pay for my trip?

You can secure your place with an initial deposit and settle the balance by the agreed date. We accept bank transfers, cash at our office and debit or credit cards. Card payments may be subject to a bank processing fee.
